Hotel Canada Palace - Calafell

The room cleanliness was unacceptable. Hairs everywhere! And the noise from evening shows was unbearable. I expected to be upgraded for these inconveniences, but no one seemed to care. Such a shame, I almost wrote a good review but just couldn't when i was treated like everyone else, not the superior guest i am.

A good hotel c ertainly value for money - however they would not accept credit cards. Sete a pleasant place

Consider requesting a room facing the sea for a quieter atmosphere, as the noise from evening entertainment can be disruptive.

The breakfast was above average, had an enjoyable stay for a quiet holiday out of school holidays. The room was great-sized and well decorated and for upper floors 229.

Good family-hotel. Good and large beds, spacious room and spacious badroom, nice balcony, large closet for your clothes and enough cabinets for your gear and other stuff. Good location: Close to the railway station (100 meters) which brings you to the centre of Barcelona in about 1 hour or to St. Vincent de Caldiers in 5 minutes. From St. Vincent de Caldiers there is a train to Reus (about 1 hour traveltime). The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the beach. The sandy beach is super and stretches out over a long distance (several kms we guess). Along the beach there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. There is one small supermarket near the hotel and a small indoor market at 15 minutes walking distance.

The swimmingpool is not heated, the water was about as cold as the sea. The whole day long you have to listen to music which is played over outside speakers around the pool, so on your balcony you have to enjoy that as well. The music sounds like semi-classical music that mimics the background music of the earliest Tom and Jerry cartoons. The music stops at 22:00, and the balcony-door is good soundproof so it won't keep you awake.

Loved the magician show during the evenings.

a pleasant stay with minor issues

The room with a pool view offered a unique perspective, especially during the lively high rockabilly events. Daily provision of clean towels and toiletries added to the comfort. The spacious outdoor pool area provided ample space for relaxation and fun.

Though the room had its charm, some noise from nearby evening events was an unwelcome distraction.

The private parking was on-site, excellent service. Location: the hotel was close enough to the beach, restaurants and bars, airport or Barcelona and train station which is convinient for easy ride from airport or Barcelona.

The outdoor pool was perfect, and we loved the games room for some fun after our beach time. The staff were really friendly. The buffet was varied with fresh options, keeping everyone's taste buds happy.

The room offered a pool view overlooking the vibrant high rockabilly events, and I loved how the clean towels and toiletries were refreshed daily. The charming decor and the lovely mixed Mediterranean buffet kept my tastebuds dancing!

Room walls are thin, leading to disturbances from nearby conversations and entertainment events-an issue, especially if you're hoping for a peaceful night. Speaking of entertainment, the evening shows can be excessively loud, running late, which definitely complicates things for families or others seeking a quieter atmosphere. The lack of an iron in the room was rather inconvenient, given the trouble of having to buy one just to get things pressed. Many family rooms feel cramped, which might leave you juggling children and luggage in tight spaces. Lastly, I found that the food quality had its ups and downs. Some meals were fresh, while others not so much, leading to a mixed dining experience.
